Alison recently turned 50 and celebrated by booking her first mammogram!
Check out her video where she describes why early screening is important. She’ll talk about her concerns and what it really feels like to get a mammogram. Alison was able to book her own appointment though one of the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) locations in our community.
The Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) offers free, high-quality mammograms every two years to women ages 50 to 74 with no signs of breast cancer as part of their routine medical care. Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) sends a reminder letter to your home when it’s time to book your next appointment. Find an OBSP location near you here.
It’s never too late to get screened.
Check out Alison’s video below of her 50th birthday celebration.
