How To Guide: for completing a review of your own practice for Cancer Screening UPDATED

I recently audited my own practice for breast, colorectal and cervical cancer screening and decided to write this up using the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) audit template to share with my primary care colleagues. Each audit is worth 6 Mainpro+ credits for a possible total of 18. That’s a lot of credits, plus your screening rates should go up. If you are interested, you could perform this audit yourself and use my template to make your own CPFC submission. Or, contact me and I can put you in touch with a facilitator who will come to your office and guide you through it. Attached are sample templates (DOCX) for Breast, Cervix and Colorectal cancer screening as well as a facilitation tool you may find helpful to guide you and your staff through the process. Drop me a line if you have ideas of things to add to this sample template.
